The Rare Earth magnets (NdFeB) are embedded in a steel cups – plastic injected, Ni plated. The steel pot increases the pull force of the magnet on direct contact with a thick iron surface. Stainless steel cups with stainless steel magnet cover are also available. Stainless steel cups are water resistant with no corrosion.
